Little bunny
The plan is to make a little ornament/toy for each of the kids for their Easter baskets this year. Here’s the first one, hot off the presses. Designed by Tricia Wilson Nguyen in the May 2008 JCS. With, of course, lots of changes. None of the colors are what she called for, and I used buttons in place of stitched “wheels”. Added some Kreinik braid to the grass for a bit of pizazz. Stitched the tail with darning yarn for some fluff. Stitched on some low-count linen from my stash that has a hint of sage green to it.
